Lyons sells portfolio of properties

Financial solutions company Lyons Financial Solutions Holdings' (LYS) Lyons Corporate Lease Fund (LCLFL) has disposed of a portfolio of properties to Metboard Properties (MPL) and Growthpoint Properties (GRT) for R176.4 million and R288 million respectively.

A proposed takeover bid by Icarus Investment Corporation has thrown it a lifeline

LYONS Financial Solutions Holdings plans to retain a 10% equity interest in its corporate lease fund even after listing it separately, a structure in line with international trends and ensuring that asset managers do not milk the funds under their management with fees.
