Approach to inclusionary housing now more flexible
The national housing department is expecting to finalise its proposed inclusionary housing policy by the end of next month. It also wants to introduce legislation to assist municipalities in implementing the policy

Plan for low-income homes
Housing Minister Lindiwe Sisulu plans to force property developers who target the top end of the market to also build homes for low-income families. She is aiming to have legislation in place by March next year.
