Nersa grants Eskom 9.4% tariff increase

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) has granted Eskom a 9.41% tariff increase in the 2019/20 financial year.

Property insights- Budget week

Minister Tito Mboweni’s 1st Budget is likely to be a “tough” budget, with economic weakness constraining revenues along with a seemingly endless list of urgent spending priorities, some bordering on crises, giving him little room to manoeuvre.

Due to a shortage in capacity, Eskom is implementing stage three rotational load shedding from 8am and it is likely to continue until 11pm today.
