The Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA) has announced that the Fourleaf Estate residential development in Port Elizabeth is the first residential project in Africa to meet the EDGE resource-efficiency standard and receive EDGE final certification.

6-Star Green Star SA certified Hotel Verde has just been awarded a second LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum Green Building Certification by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) making it the first hotel globally to achieve a double Platinum certification for LEED®.

Hotel Verde was awarded the highest accolade of a 6-Star Green Star SA rating, obtaining 82 points using the Existing Building Performance tool.
