Gauteng government to sell brick empire

Gauteng government is preparing to sell all of its residential properties, including the premier's official residence, in a vast portfolio that may include as many as 29,000 properties.

The Gauteng Provincial Government is working around the clock to ensure that life gets back to normal in tornado-hit Ekurhuleni, east of Johannesburg.

The Public Investment Corporation (PIC) and Isibonelo Property Services (Isibonelo) have entered into a co-ownership and funding agreement for the Tshwane Regional Mall (TRM).

Gauteng government has ambitious plans to build three new cities.

Government will invest more than R1 billion to build and improve infrastructure for township economies in the next five years, says Premier David Makhura.
