Mara Delta (formerly Delta Africa), the first multi-listed property fund to offer international property investors direct access to immediate high growth opportunities on the African continent outside of South Africa, today announced that it has entered into negotiations with New Mauritius Hotels Limited to acquire a 45% interest in an entity owning three hotel assets in Mauritius.    

Speaking at the Africa Hotel Investment Forum in Kigali, Rwanda, Xander Nijnens, Senior Vice-President, Hotels and Hospitality Group, JLL Sub-Saharan Africa, announced that Lux Island Resorts Limited has entered into an agreement to sell its Tamassa resort on the Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius for US$40 million.

Mara Delta to create Morocco Reit

Mara Delta is set to convert its Moroccan subsidiary into a real estate investment trust by the end of 2016.
