Increased industrial property activity especially in newer nodes of Cape Town

Dave Russell, a director of Baker Street Properties, has announced that the company has successfully concluded leases for a number of high profile tenants in the newly refurbished Atlantic Centre on the Foreshore.

Baker Street Properties reports a 7% decline in vacancies in the greater Cape Town area up to the third quarter of 2013

According to Dave Russell, a director of Baker Street Properties, the subdued economic climate continues to affect the office leasing market, with limited demand for new offices this quarter. 

Over the past 6 months some positive signs, albeit small, have finally been seen in the industrial property market in the Greater Cape Town area 

Office vacancies in the various nodes included in the Q1 2013 SAPOA Office Vacancy Survey show little change to the previous quarter’s figures. 

There has been very little change in the industrial property market in the greater Cape Town area in the past 12 months according to Andy Beddow, a director of Baker Street Properties.
