Sello Moloko is the Deputy Chairman of Sycom Property Fund Limited and the Group Chairman of Alexander Forbes Limited. Prior to this Moloko was the Chief Executive Officer of Old Mutual Asset Management and the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Brait Asset Managers.

Developed and owned by Zenprop Property Holdings, the new Alexander Forbes Head Office at 115 West Street in Sandton was awarded the Best Overall Development at the recently held SAPOA Innovative Excellence in Property Development Awards for 2013.

After an intense tender and selection process by Webber Wentzel Attorneys, which received some 27 submissions by sector heavyweights including Redefine, Growthpoint, Zenprop, Intaprop and others, it has awarded the tender to Redefine Properties.

Alexander Forbes in October moved its 2 200 Johannesburg staff into the new R840-million green 36 950 m² eight storey head office at 115 West Street, Sandton. 

The listed property index put in a bumper performance last year, outperforming the JSE Securities Exchange all share index, bonds and cash.
