Erwin, Alcan in talks on Coega deal

 

The trade and industry department has confirmed that that minister Alec Erwin met representatives from Alcan and Pechiney, who visited SA last week, to assess the merits of Pechiney's proposed $2,2bn aluminium smelter at Coega.

Optimism in local property

The main message to come out of this month's South African Property Owners' Association (Sapoa) 35th Annual International Convention, held at Sun City, was one of positive change and cautious optimism for the future. A record number of 720 delegates attended.
