Africrest Properties was thrilled to host the Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Development Planning for the City of Johannesburg- Reuben Masango as well as MMC for Housing- Meshack van Wyk, at the opening of their latest middle income residential development in Bramley, known as ‘The Village’.

Africrest Properties intends to be one of the top 10 largest residential middle-income landlords in Gauteng within the next 5 years.

Over the last year Africrest has invested several million Rand installing solar panels on the majority of their buildings.

The merger of Africrest Properties and StandOut Properties has been some time in the making as the two companies have been purchasing buildings together over the last 3 years.

Africrest Properties is known for their value add investing and a few years ago took a positive view on the area Wynberg (Gauteng) and has continued to purchase buildings in the area.

Africrest Properties concluded a lease with Ignite (a division of Internet Solutions which is a division of Dimension Data) and Synaq to rent an entire building located at 3 Eglin Crescent, Sunninghill, both tenants have now moved into their remarkable building. 

In line with Africrest Properties strategy the company continues to acquire commercial properties with good fundamentals that require care and attention.
