The multi-million rand Windsor Park property development project will be launched in Despatch on Friday.

The project, an investment worth R120-million, is divided into three phases and caters for first-time buyers and investors.

The first phase, Windsor Park Home Estate, which consists of units selling for between R449800 and R598500, should be finished in October.

Jaco Rademeyer of Jaco Rademeyer Estates in Nelson Mandela Bay, who is marketing the development, described it as “exceptional”.

Phase two of the project consists of the Swanz which features 23 free-standing units selling at R619800 each.

The last phase is the luxury Windsor Park, whose houses have an entry price tag of R889500.

Rademeyer said strict security measures would be one of the hallmarks of the development.

He said the development would create an opportunity for Port Elizabeth residents wanting to enter the property market who are willing to commute between the city and Despatch.

The construction is being carried out by JVT Projects.

JVT‘s Brink Botha said the apartments were “relatively cheap if you consider the price of land these days”.
