The Pine Lake Marina holiday resort comes up for public auction on May 10 as a result of the expiry of the timeshare period in 2010.
The resort, situated on the banks of the Swartvlei outside Sedgefield, was originally a caravan park and has been a timeshare holiday destination for almost 20 years.
At the time of the sale of the timeshare it was a condition that the resort would be sold eventually as a going concern to one buyer without reserve price and this will now happen on May 10.
The resort measures 9,23ha with a direct frontage of some 200m on the Swartvlei.
The facilities include an administration block, staff housing, a club house, four swimming pools, tennis courts, game rooms for youngsters, squash court, putt-putt course, restaurant and bar, laundry, salon, shop and jetties with boathouses for various water sports.
The resort will be sold as a going concern, inclusive of all movable assets.
