Construction group Raubex (RBX) plans to buy two road construction businesses for R100 million, it said on Monday.

Thaba Bosiu Construction and Zamori Construction both have an established presence in the country, the company said.

"We have been looking to further reinforce our heavy construction presence in South Africa and this deal will do just that. Both companies have a great reputation in this area and will add to the overall positioning of the Raubex Group," said Francois Diedrechsen, the group's commercial and financial director.
