Nonyameko Mandindi, CEO of Intersite Property Management Services was announced as the winner of the Women’s Property Network Five Star Woman Award

Nyami MandindiThe award, which is sponsored by Nedbank Corporate Property Finance, was presented at the annual Women’s Property Network Charity Ball held at the Sandton Sun last week.   The annual award seeks to recognize an exceptional woman within the commercial property sector who epitomizes the following attributes; possesses specialist knowledge in her field, has an established and extensive network, is recognized and respected by her peers, is ethical and trustworthy and empowers women in the industry.

Nonyameko Mandindi is a qualified registered quantity surveyor.  She has conducted research into and contributed to policy intervention for the development of emerging contractors in South Africa.  She has supported the development of skills in the quantity surveying profession through scholarship awards and mentorships and before joining Intersite managed a professional quantity surveying practice for a decade.  Prof Raymond Nkado who submitted Nonyameko’s entry says, ”she is an exceptional woman who has made and is making significant contributions to national growth and development”.

The other finalists were; Lebohang Litha, Director of her own property development business, Amanda Stops Joint Managing Director of CBS Property Group, Mariette Warner Head of Property Funds Stanlib and Cheryl Wendelken CEO of Monyetla Property Fund.
