“WPN has set itself some aggressive goals and targets over the next few years and I look forward to leading the team to achieve the challenges that these present.   Our main aim is to uplift women in this tough industry and we are in a position now to do something positive and make a difference with our newly launched Education Trust and Mentorship programmes”, says Ipeleng.

The new executive team is; Chairman - Ipeleng Mkhari - Motseng, Lisa Blane - KMH Architects, Christa Bonnet - ABSA, Lynette Ntuli - Motseng, Diane Rhynes Womens Property Network National Co-ordinator, Amelia Beattie – OMIGPI.  Three more members of the Executive will be announced once the Gauteng and Durban Chapter AGM’s have taken place.

Ipeleng Mkhari, is the Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Motseng Investment Holdings. A pioneering entrepreneur, Ipeleng established the first black woman owned CCTV business, which became the foundation of Motseng, a diversified group.

As CIO of the group she is responsible for the company’s growth strategy, including its subsidiaries such as Motseng Property Group, the largest black owned and operated property management company in South Africa.

She sits on various boards, SA Corporate Real Estate, Ambit Properties, KAP International and is a Council member of the Durban University of Technology.

Ipeleng was awarded the Cosmopolitan Mover of the Year in 2006 and was a finalist in the Business Women’s Association Entrepreneurial Business Woman of the Year 2006.
