Property-Housing-ResidentialSA needs some rethink on its low income/affordable housing delivery. Just some of the issues and challenges that we face include:

- massive demand, charter commitments and backlogs
- debates around “Social Inclusive Housing” and the “PIE Act”
- a context of “dysfunctional township housing markets”…

Strategic Executive Programs is proud to announce that it has arranged a three day workshop on various aspects of affordable low cost housing – a vital area of interest and concern in South Africa today. This workshop will be held in Johannesburg from the 23rd to the 25th of May 2007.

The workshop is being presented by Dr M Kabir Hassan who is a professor in finance and economics at the University of New Orleans and a visiting professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia both in the USA. Offering vast global experience, he is originally from Bangladesh and is an expert on developing economies with regard to public enterprises and privatization issues particularly those involving the financial sector.
