A new golf and polo estate for the eastern Free State, which will "put Ficksburg on the map", will be launched later this year.

The Stafford's Hill Golf and Polo Estate will include 220 dwellings priced from R300,000 a stand, says Ena du Toit, of Sotheby's International Realty in Ficksburg.

"This development will be linked to a steamtrain project that will attract many tourists," says Du Toit.
