Colliers International has sold a property in Lancaster, UK to South African Investors for £9 million.

Working with their associate office in London (Colliers have 251 offices in 53 countries) Colliers sourced the property which had a national tenant with a 23 year lease remaining and upward only 5 year rent reviews.

The initial yield of 6,2% was well above current market and the purchasers were able to secure 80% non-recourse financing.

Colliers International have experienced increasing interest from local investors to diversify offshore in direct property either as individuals or as a syndicate.

Accordingly Colliers International have developed suitable structures in Guernsey to make the investments tax efficient for investors whilst offering regulated vehicles to safeguard  the investment.

Colliers are able to provide hands on management and administration of the property by their offshore colleagues.
