Investec Property Group says it has concluded a leasing deal with Dis-Chem Pharmacies to open a 1,824m² mega-pharmacy in KwaZulu-Natal's La Lucia Mall in June next year. This will be Dis-Chem Pharmacies' first store in the province and to accommodate the retailer La Lucia Mall will be expanded by 1,355m². Construction will begin in January and the project will cost R7,7m.
Volume slowdown is 'at upper end'

Commentators and estate agents should take care in making clear that while some slowdown is taking place in property sales volumes, this is taking place in the upper end of the market, especially in the luxury class, says Rudi Botha, CEO of mortgage originator BetterBond. They should make it clear that price growth was still improving but not as fast as in the previous three years.

Knysna appointment
