Gensec Property Services, Durban, has signed an eight-year lease to the value of R15 million.

The tenant, the CCMA, will occupy an area of just less than 3000m² in the Embassy Building. This translates to a rate of R42,50 per square metre, with an escalation of eight per cent.

"This is one of the most exciting and significant deals for the Durban office this year, particularly in respect of the rental in the area of occupancy," says Leone Allanson, centre manager, Gensec Durban.

Julie Moodley brokered the deal.
