Chas Everitt Developments, the consortium taking the Chas Everitt International brand to KwaZulu-Natal, has opened its second franchise in the province, at Umhlanga.

An office in Ballito was opened in July and a third office is to open in Berea next month. Two more offices, one in Hillcrest and one in Margate, will be opened early next year.

Consortium head Roger Dixon, who is overseeing the implementation and operation of these first five franchises, says the property market along the coastal belt is undergoing enormous changes.

"There is a discernible wave of development moving northwards."
