With average vacancies in decentralised Johannesburg moving ever so slightly down to under 11% and new supply that still appears to be in check, the market could still improve. As always noted, this relationship between demand and new supply is an aspect that requires constant monitoring - particularly so in Johannesburg - which has a tendency towards overzealously bringing new projects on stream at the slightest opportunity.
