STRATFORD Property Ventures, is a developer of commercial, retail and industrial properties, has evolved from the commitment of its primary shareholders who have been involved in excess of R3 billion of commercial developments in South Africa over the past 23 years.
In just a couple of years the company has already completed a number of major projects. Due to the wealth of expertise of the directors and staff of Stratford, they are able to lead the design and construction teams to achieve their goals.
Results oriented and practical project management systems focus on the key development criteria to ensure successful developments. Its aim is to have a long-term association with both its institutional clients and investors and its tenant market. The emphasis is on quality developments at the most cost effective price within the defined time parameters, the company states. Stratford has identified four stands at Century City along the N1 highway, where the new Lifestyle Centres for DaimlerChrysler South Africa for their Mercedes Benz and Crysler Jeep brands are currently under construction. This prestigious development brings the international DaimlerChrysler Lifestyle concept, successful in Europe and other countries, to Cape Town. The majority of sales and service of new and pre-owned vehicles for the Western Cape will be undertaken from here, coupled with a lifestyle environment with bistros, special events and functions. The centre is due to commence trading in May next year.
Stratford Property Ventures is also currently developing the Maerua Mall Phase 2 retail centre in Windhoek, Namibia. The core consultants are Cape Town based and therefore handles the project from here.
The centre is due for trading in April 2006, and the 40 000sq m mall will have more than 80% national traders.
