TENANT demand has resulted in the trading area of Willowbridge, a retail project opposite Tygervalley Centre in Western Cape, being increased to its full capacity while still under construction.

The initial phase would have covered 16000m² of leased space, but Heidi Aucamp, of marketing agents Heico, says tenant demand has prompted the project to be increased to 25000m².

Construction began in August last year and trading is scheduled to begin on October 27.

The centre will be anchored on one end by a Woolworths homeware-food store and Foschini’s @ Home. Pick ’n Pay & Dis-Chem will anchor the other end, with Wetherlys and Osiers anchoring the centre.

Other traders include Look & Listen, Wordsworths Books, Healthworx MediClinic and SKIN Wellness Centre.
