The Buffalo City Municipality passed building plans to the value of R54,8m in February - up from R46m in February 2004
The Buffalo City Municipality passed building plans to the value of R54,8-million in February - up from R46m in February 2004.

According to monthly statistics, the total number of building plans was 337 - up from 303 in February 2004.
From January 1 until February this year, 666 building plans were passed.

The plans passed include:

  • Umtiza High School in Orange Grove worth R3,548,600;
  • Additions to Sinomonde Primary School in Orange Grove, R4,312,000;
  • Sophathisana Senior Secondary School in Reeston worth R369,000;
  • A R1-million house in Kwelerha;
  • A R1-million warehouse in East London;
  • 109 low-cost houses in Reeston worth R21,313 each;
  • Lukhanya Primary School in Amalinda valued at R156,5000; and
  • R50,200 additions to Gompo Clinic.
