A steel skywalk is the latest addition to a series of projects aimed at rejuvenating Joburg's city centre.
The tubular glass and steel structure provides easy access between the Standard Bank?s head office building at 5 Simmonds Street and the bank's new building, Alexander Forbes House, in Sauer Street.
More than 50 tons of steel and glass were used to build the R3-million skywalk.
It is accessible only from the two buildings and its use is restricted to staff and visitors of the bank.
