Seven premier commercial and retail properties in Gauteng, worth around R50-million, are to be auctioned later this month.

They include two buildings in Joburg, one on the corner of Loveday and Bree streets linked by a pedestrian skywalk to a second building, on Plein Street.

Six of the properties up for sale are fully let, with the tenants on longterm leases, said James Dall of Aucors property division. This is a unique situation for investors and a truly low-risk opportunity to purchase property in the commercial market.

Other properties include an office block in Rivonia, fully let until 2008, a Caltex filling station close to the N4 highway in Pretoria and a furniture retailer in Brakpan, currently being refurbished.

The properties can be viewed by appointment with auctioneers Aucor. The event takes place on August 18 at the Inanda Club in Sandton.
