Said PGP's area franchise principal Verna van den Blink: "Prices of houses in Bloemfontein have appreciated, on average, between 20% and 25%.

"Sectional title units have also soared; new developments have achieved prices in excess of R1 million each in upmarket areas. Growth "There's an influx of buyers which has pushed up prices. "A key factor in the growth of the property market in Bloemfontein has been its rapidly expanding infrastructure and facilities. "There is also the fact that the city is the hub of the central region, which serves about 32 neighbouring towns," said Van den Blink.
