The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality has launched a 'Developers’ Guide', aimed at making development information more easily accessible.

The council said developers will now have access to key information on Ekurhuleni as a development area, as well as policies affecting development, development costs.

The guide also contains contact details of key officials, ward councillors and other developers and flowcharts highlighting application processes, along with time frames for such applications. The Developers’ Guide is intended for use by property developers, town planners, architects, estate agents and other professionals who regularly require information regarding the development process within Ekurhuleni.

All information relating to development in Ekurhuleni is contained in an easy to use style. The information in the Developers’ Guide will change over time and sections will be updated at least annually.

Updates will be distributed in the third quarter of every year.
