The first of what will be annual investment conferences will take place in Johannesburg next month.
The conference will be jointly presented by Investment Property Databank (IPD) and the South African Property Owners Association (Sapoa).
It will be held on November 4 and 5 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Sandton.
The organisers say the conference will be a major high-level forum for stakeholders and operators in commercial property, aimed particularly at the investment community and asset allocation and management specialists. Among the speakers to appear will be: Ian Cullen of IPD in the UK; Alec Emmot of Societe Fonciere Lyonnaise in France; Wayne Wright of JHI Real Estate; James Maseko, Director of Public Works; Jim McLean of Liberty Properties; and Angelique de Rauville of Provest.
Included in the conference will be a gala dinner featuring the presentation of the IPD SA Property Investment Performance awards.
Further information about the event is available from Meg Borelli at Sapoa on 011-883-0679
