UK property group has launched an American Depositary Receipt level 1 programme in the US, using Bank of New York as its depositary
UK property group Liberty International plc, which is also listed in South Africa where it originated, announced that it has launched an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) level 1 programme in the US, using Bank of New York as its depositary.

Each Liberty International ADR represents one ordinary share of the company. The ADRs will trade on the over-the-counter market under the symbol "LBYIY", the group said.

"The ADR programme is part of Liberty International's continuing programme of attracting long term investors on a worldwide basis. A series of presentations to potential investors in the United States of America is planned over the next few months to coincide with the launch of the ADR programme," the group said.
