Only two of the original 31 sectional title office units remain in the first phase of Pinewood Square in the Pinewood Office Park in Woodmead. Developers Barrow Properties now plan to go ahead with phase two for occupation mid-2004.
The first phase has been highly successful, according to Barrow Properties' Paul Barrow. A balanced mix of tenants and owners has been attracted to the development which aims to meet the needs of small- to medium-sized companies seeking prime locality and prestige in an affordable, up-market office package.
Still available in the first phase are units from 80sq m, renting from R6 500 per month. Selling prices in phase two will be an estimated 10% higher, making the last of the units in the first phase particularly attractive.
"With potential returns of 14% and upwards, the development's sectional title units represent an investment not easily matched elsewhere in the property market," Barrow stated. - The Star
