Violetta Parylo

Violetta Parylo is the Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services of RICS.

 Violetta Parylo is responsible for the long-term financial strategy of RICS. She also leads the delivery of effective corporate services, including information technology, property management, facilities, legal, compliance, risk and corporate governance.

Prior to joining RICS in April 2009, Violetta was the financial director of an AIM-listed company where she was responsible for shareholder relations and management, financial performance and funding, and reporting requirements. Previous to this Violetta held financial director positions in subsidiaries of an American listed IT sourcing group and also a venture capital-backed Netherlands telecoms group.

Violetta qualified as a chartered accountant in 1993. She then spent 11 years working with a London-based multinational private equity and venture capital company. There she performed various roles but primarily focused on the internationalisation of the group and its mergers and acquisitions activities.

In her current role with RICS, Violetta's responsibilities include:

  • Managing the financial resources of the organisation, including the estate
  • Managing RICS’ international growth ensuring legal compliance
  • Provision of core group services including IT, finance and governance
  • Risk management of the organisation.
