The move to new corporate headquarters on Fricker Road in Sandton coincides with a restructuring of the senior executive team at Broll, South Africa’s largest multi-service property group.

(Johannesburg, 2 July 2003)  The move to new corporate headquarters on Fricker Road in Sandton coincides with a restructuring of the senior executive team at Broll, South Africa’s largest multi-service property group.

“Our rapid growth over the past few years had created a corporate structure that was often difficult for people within the organisation to understand, let alone those outside,” said executive chairman Jonathan Broll.  “The revised organogram clearly defines our core disciplines and the people responsible for taking the vision forward.”

“The Company is not an amorphous mass.  It is a collection of intellectual capital from some of the most talented people available in the Southern African property industry, all with clearly defined areas of expertise and proven track records.”

Full responsibility for day-to-day operations is the ambit of chief operating officer Arnold Meyer and his team of seven executives.  While corporate vision and overall policy will continue to be influenced by Jonathan Broll, Alan Wallace and Dr Jackie Mphafudi.

The Company has been reorganised into seven operating units; National Broking (David Alcock), Projects (Philip Chilton-Jones), Corporate Affairs (Tilly Gasela), Retail Leasing (Richard O’Sullivan), Support Services (Leonard Michau), Commercial & Industrial Property Management (David Rice) and Retail Property Management (Mark Ruffley).

“The property industry is a dynamic ever-evolving environment.  This restructuring, together with the significant stake in the Company acquired by Mvelaphanda Strategic Investments, ideally positions Broll to take advantage of future opportunities arising in the marketplace,” concludes Arnold Meyer.

Broll Property Group offers a multi-disciplinary approach to property through a national footprint operating in all major South African centres.

Ends.
