The R450 million project will be completed in two phases, each consisting of a separate office block. But both blocks will be linked by a shared basement and podium level. Together, they will provide over 18 000 square metres of office space.

The Bridge Park site is located on the edge of the new Bridgeways Precinct. It was handed over to construction firm Murray & Roberts this week. Neil Zaaiman will now begin earthworks on site, which is expected to be completed in January, after which construction of the first phase of the development Bridge Park East - will commence in full.

This will be completed in April 2015. At any point during construction, work may commence on Bridge Park West, dependent on market demand.

The greater Bridgeways precinct is one of the largest developments undertaken at Century City to date. It is already home to The Business Centre, which recently opened, and No 3 Bridgeways. Construction continues on the new Chevron headquarters next to the Virgin Active gym.

Philip Morris will reportedly be joining the mix along with Bridge Park in the near future. But the plans for the precinct as a whole don't stop there, with more buildings of varying heights planned for the site, as pictured below.

The Bridgeways Precinct at Century City will comprise numerous office blocks and exciting hospitality offerings.
