Seamus Daly, a broker at JHI Properties, recently concluded a five-year lease for approximately 400 square metres of warehousing and office space prominently positioned in Voortrekker Road in Maitland Park on behalf of Europcar car rental, which has experienced considerable growth in the Western Cape. 

Says Daly: “Maitland Park has 24 hour security and controlled access, while the location of Europcar’s premises is more visible and conveniently accessible for their customers, whether travelling from the N1, N2, M3 or M5.”

“Due to growth in the business we required larger premises in order to accommodate the additional staff and vehicles to cater for the increased volumes,” says Priscilla Hancock, branch manager for Europcar in the Western Cape.

“The move has allowed us to cover and accommodate a wider area more successfully, including the Overberg, West Coast, Century City and the greater Northern Suburbs, while accessibility to and from these premises is user-friendly for our customers – as well as our staff who use public transport. Another positive is that we’ve also been able to implement a waterless cleaning system as our warehouse facility enables us to clean undercover and securely parked vehicles.”
