Investec Australia Property Fund says its private placing is been significantly oversubscribed.

Graeme KatzInvestec Australia Property Fund (IAP) said on Monday that its private placing had been significantly oversubscribed.

The company said a total of 112.685-million units were placed at A$1 per unit in terms of the book building process‚ and A$112.685m was successfully raised through the placing.

The units issued in terms of the private placing will be transferred to successful applicants and listed on Thursday‚ October 24 2013.

In the “Real Estate - Real Estate Holdings and Development” sector of the main board of the JSE‚ 134.685m units will be listed and will trade under the abbreviated name IAPF with JSE share code IAP.
