JSE approves Fountainhead's application for Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT") status

Unitholders are advised that Fountainhead's application for Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT") status has been approved by the JSE Limited.

Fountainhead will qualify as a REIT with effect from the commencement of its next financial year, being 1 October 2013.

Fountainhead Property Trust owns a R10bn retail-biased portfolio.
