The Hyatt Regency Oubaai employs 300 staff members and they continually endeavour to empower their staff through internal and external initiatives. Earlier this year they sent two of their chefs to Indonesia on a culinary expedition. Upon returning the two chefs were full of stories and could hardly put into words how incredible it was to share South African cuisine and learn Indonesian culinary secrets.
