The Cape Town International Airport has been rated the best in Africa for the third year in a row, Western Cape tourism MEC Alan Winde said on Tuesday.
The Airports Council International Airport Service Quality Awards are the airline industry's most prestigious accolades. The Awards recognise airports that have achieved the highest passenger satisfaction ratings in the Airport Service Quality survey, the world's benchmark measure of airport excellence.
"Cape Town International is a deserving recipient of this award. The award bears testament to consistent dedication to service delivery excellence by the management of the airport," he said.
Durban was rated the next best airports in Africa, followed by Cairo, Mauritius, and Johannesburg.
