Iliad Africa, listed under the construction and building materials sector of the JSE Securities Exchange lists, is expanding its retail footprint into KwaZulu Natal.

The first coastal Ferreira's Décor World flagship store will be opened in Durban this month.

The new outlet, comprising about 1 200 sq m of showroom space supplemented by 2 700 sq m of warehousing, is to be located at Lion Match Park, a new development on the historic site of the Lion Match factory in Umgeni Road.

The new Ferreira's Décor World outlet is centrally located to cater for the lifestyle requirements of the affluent KwaZulu Natal market.

It will be positioned as a destination store showcasing a wide selection of imported ceramic tiles, sanitary ware and related accessories, replicating the success of Ferreira's Décor World in North Riding, Randburg.

Situated opposite Wetherleys and along some of the busiest routes in Durban, the store is expected to attract immediate interest in both the new property and home improvement markets.
