Tirhani Auctioneers which started operations seven years ago is now SA’s largest black-owned and blackmanaged auctioneering company.

Property-Housing-ResidentialvTirhani’s lead auctioneer and CEO, Tirhani Mabunda, says most people have an inaccurate perception that auctions are about distress sales and bargains.

On the contrary, he mainatians that auctions have developed into a first-choice option in most parts of the world, offering sellers and buyers the opportunity to transact quickly in an open, transparent and competitive manner.

Tirhani Property Auctions will sell two premier properties in Cape Town next month.
Number 19 Van Reenen Street, Bloubergstrand, and 5 Bel Ombre Drive, Constantia, will be offered by public auction on Thursday, May 10 on site at noon for Van Reenen Street and at 7pm for the Bel Ombre Drive property.

“Duly instructed by the trustees in the liquidation of The National Pride Trading 148 (in liquidation), we shall sell on public auction: 19 Van Reenen Street, Bloubergstrand, Cape Town which is a three storey Mediterranean styled property, situated on the coastal strip with views of the Atlantic Ocean, Table Mountain and Robben Island. The dwelling measures 800m² and is located on a 485m² stand. An elevator allows accessibility to all three levels.

“The nature of this coastal property makes it either an ideal corporate guest house or an entertainer’s retreat.”

The property includes: five bedrooms and four bathrooms, a study and full designer kitchen. It also features an indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna, central heating, theatre, bar and entertainment area, and three garages.
