Sapoa CEO Neil GopalAs part of Sapoa Online’s ongoing commitment to provide its subscribers with maximum exposure to the business and investment communities they have agreed to participate in the Sake Beeld’s soon to be launched commercial property page. Sapoa Online identified the Sake Beeld as a significant opportunity for growing the reach of their industry endorsed commercial property portal in the Afrikaans speaking business community.

Sake Beeld is now launching a monthly commercial property page with the objective to deliver important industry-related news to decision-makers. Sapoa Online’s involvement will include research contributions and commentary on commercial property industry trends.

The following factors contributed to this decision:

Ø      It is the only Afrikaans daily financial publication.

Ø      It reaches 61.7% of the JSE investors in Sake-Beeld’s distribution area, and 33.4% live in Sake-Burger’s distribution area

Ø      Sake reaches 536 000 readers daily of which 90.5% read no other daily financial publication as the Afrikaans-speaking market sector prefer to be communicated to in their mother tongue; and furthermore reaches 42.9% of the readers of daily financial publications.

Ø      Sake offers you the opportunity to advertise nationally in Beeld (Gauteng, Limpopo, North West, Mpumalanga, and KwaZulu-Natal), Die Burger (Cape) and Volksblad (Free State) thereby reaching all nine provinces.

Ø      The bulk of Internet users in South Africa are younger than 25, with newspapers remaining the preferred medium to receive information. (Newspapers 59% as opposed to 19% of Internet users in the R16 000+ income bracket).
