Two prominently situated retail properties on Grant Avenue in Norwood, Johannesburg, will be brought to auction during next month’s Commercial Multiple auction on October 27.

Property-Housing-ResidentialThe properties will be sold as one lot.

The properties are situated at 70 and 72 Grant Avenue, within the heart of the established commercial and retail node of Norwood. The location of the properties on Grant Avenue affords them with excellent exposure from passing traffic, and they are easily accessible via main and secondary arterials including the M1 highway and Louis Botha Avenue.

The first property, 72 Grant Avenue, is a double storey property which fronts Grant Avenue, and extends over an approximate GLA of 665m².  The ground floor hosts 2 retail shop areas, and the first floor hosts a restaurant and club area.

The second property, 70 Grant Avenue, hosts 2 buildings. The first building, which is situated on the corner of Grant Avenue and Nellie Road, hosts a club area with a stage, storeroom, kitchen, male and female ablutions and a courtyard. The second building is currently tenanted, and hosts a large display room, 3 rooms, a bathroom and kitchen.

Comments Warren Aronson of Auction Alliance, “The upcoming sale of these properties, provides prospective owner occupiers and investors with the perfect opportunity to acquire attractively priced commercial properties in a prime location”.

The auction takes place at 12pm at the Hilton Hotel, 138 Rivonia Road Sandton.
