Auction Alliance will take a landmark property, situated at 163 Johannesburg Road, Lyndhurst, to auction on December.

Property-Housing-ResidentialThe property was previously occupied by Stuart Bromfield BMW and Lyndhurst Auto and is well known in the Lyndhurst, Kew area. The now vacant property consists of an out of service filling station, motorcar showroom, workshops, storage and parking.

It is zoned for a public garage and would be an ideal site for petrol station, with its easy access to Johannesburg Road.

The building is well suited for a convenience store and the large workshop/storage space allows for the property to be multi-tenanted. The site offers a total land size of 8500m² and a gross building area of approximately 3000m², with most of the open yard space being at the back and to the side of the property.

“Johannesburg Road is one of the busy arterial roads connecting the northern suburbs to the east and enjoys a high traffic volume.

This property has excellent exposure with a great redevelopment opportunity in the heart of Lyndhurst and the north eastern suburbs. The property could be used for a number of different businesses and we are expecting an exciting auction,” comments William Amersder of Auction Alliance.

The auction takes place at 12pm on December 7 at the Southern Sun Hotel, Cnr Grayston and Rivonia Roads, Sandton.
