Two prime Cape Town Northern Suburb properties with retail and office space will be offered on the auction floor

Andrew CohenBoth properties are liquidation sales from the King Financial Services group and are situated close to an abundance of prime real estate, including office complexes comprising a variety of businesses, trendy restaurants, exclusive car dealerships, and a number of head offices of various large national corporations.
The first property, 255 Durban Road, comprises a ground-floor retail car showroom, first-floor office space and basement parking consisting of 14 bays. The gross building area amounts to 1 170m².

The ground-floor showroom is currently occupied by Barloworld South Africa as a tenant, who has expressed an interest to renew their lease. The first-floor office space and basement parking is open for a new tenant.
Checkers Midville Durbanville shopping centre, the second property is located in the heart of Durbanville, in and around other successful shopping centres and office buildings. This neighbourhood shopping centre on 13 Wellington Road offers retail space, office space and ample parking. The gross lettable area of the site is 4649 m2 and with Checkers as a strong anchor tenant, the property generates an annual income of R4 million. The lease with Checkers is in place until 2015.
