The two storey building is the seventh to be constructed at Central Park, which when completed will comprise a total of 18 000 square metres of intimately planned, village scale office buildings in three unique but interrelated office parks set around a lush open field where regular sporting and community events are held.
John Chapman, a director of developers Rabie Property Group, said they had decided to push the button on the latest office block which falls within The Courtyard precinct of Central Park as the six freehold and sectional title buildings completed to date, totaling around 7000 square metres, had all been sold or were fully let.
Central Park is in easy walking distance of all Century City’s amenities including the public transport interchange, e-parking and the Canal Walk Shopping Centre.
The new building, which is ideal for a corporate head office and includes 47 parking bays, is available for purchase or to let. Completion is scheduled for late 2010.
Chapman said Central Park, which is also home to a Clubhouse, a community square and the new offices of the Century City Property Owners’ Association, had been designed as the focal recreational hub for the greater Century City precinct.
A bridge providing the main pedestrian access point for Intaka Island, Century City’s award-winning nature conservation wetlands, also leads off the community square.
