SPEARHEAD Property Holdings' reputation for being able to achieve speedy take-ups on their premises has been confirmed by their leasing division's recent performance on the former Siltek Park, now named Eagle Park, in Montague Gardens. Bought by Spearhead in September last year, the 4 200m2 of space in the centre is now 98% let.

Those who have signed up and moved in include Eagle Freight (who were given the naming rights for the building), Regma (the stationery suppliers whose deal was brokered by Diamond Properties), and LG Electronics (the Korean headquartered company in a deal brokered by Lorimer Properties and Diamond Properties).

Darren Wilder, chief operating officer of Spearhead's leasing and administrative division, said the building was in good condition when taken over and, unlike most recently purchased buildings, had required minimal refurbishment.

'Right now,' he said, 'the building's high profile position on Bosmandam Road and the rate of inquiries appear to justify making plans to convert the basement into distribution and office space.

The details of this will be released shortly if the plan goes ahead.' For further information contact Darren Wilder on 021 425 1000.
