Total income and accommodation levels for the accommodation industry decreases

Total income for the accommodation industry for the three months ended November 2009 decreased by 9,5% compared with the three months ended November 2008. Total income for the accommodation industry in November 2009 decreased by 6,3% compared with November 2008.

Income from accommodation decreases

Income from accommodation for the three months ended November 2009 decreased by 8,7% compared with the three months ended November 2008. This decrease was mainly due to the decrease of 8,1% in stay unit nights sold during the same period. Income from accommodation in November 2009 decreased by 7,2% compared with November 2008.

Stay units available increase

The number of stay units available for the three months ended November 2009 increased by 2,1% compared with the three months ended November 2008. The number of stay units available in November 2009 increased by 2,7% compared with November 2008.

Stay unit nights sold decrease

The number of stay unit nights sold for the three months ended November 2009 decreased by 8,1% compared with the three months ended November 2008. The number of stay unit nights sold in November 2009 decreased by 6,6% compared with November 2008.
