Conceived and built by New Africa Development; they pride themselves with the fact that the 10,000m2 centre will have quality shops. Pieter Prinsloo (MD of New Africa Developments) comments: "Batho Plaza shopping centre is a R70 million investment and is ideally located in the community, within walking distance of most residents, to provide much needed retail facilities for the area. Shoprite is the anchor tenant and along with 30 other shops including Cashbuild the centre will cater to the peoples’ immediate needs.

With the launch, non stop giveaways, prizes and live performances from 9am – 5pm will occur.

Batho Plaza will also be giving the locally talented people the opportunity to show off their talent and WIN BIG! Only 30 participants may enter the talent search competition with a cash prize of R2500 for the winner.

Other performances will be by DJ Miggs and Rhythmic Elements.
